Haiku For Carpe Diem Special #54, Kikaku’s “The Beggar!
kojiki kana tenchi wo kitaru natsugoromo
the beggar!
he has Heaven and Earth
for his summer clothes
The aim is to create a haiku in same tone, sense and spirit as this one by Kikaku. My response is:
the bugger!
I’ve searched heaven and earth, but
he’s stolen my clothes
Smiles, love and laughter
