Haiku Why Don’t You?

The initial inspiration for this Blog came from various sources, but mainly from my twitter friend @brudberg, who’s tweets lead me to find out more about Haiku and took me to the Carpe Diem Blog which explained what Haiku was all about.

The action came via a lovely Brisbane Spring night in November 2012, sitting on my doorstep late in the evening, with a glass of red wine, staring at the Jacaranda tree that I’d lived with for nine years.

For those who come here as seasoned Haiku practitioners, I thank you for your presence and welcome your wisdom.

For those that stumble upon my diction wary, I offer no Asterix, just that you walk with me…

I may not know where

Carpe Diem is a wonderful way to haiku. You have people visiting your blog and give encouragement. 😉
