Carpe Diem’s prompt today is creation. As a Humanist, this offers too many opportunities to bang a secular drum. Instead, I focused on consumption vs. Creation. Which is mankind’s driver?

  4. we used to be called citizens, now we are called consumers. I have even heard of employees being called, ‘units of production’. how dehumanising.
