Carpe Diem #475, Shallow Water

This Carpe Diem haiku prompt uses the Aboriginal take of Mirragan, the Fisherman.
I have chosen not to focus on this one story, but to suggest a wider mythology of which I have no right or knowledge…

To the elders and ancestors of our wonderful land, I pay my deepest respects.
