Carpe Diem’s “Use That Quote”

Carpe Diem’s Use That Quote provides us with a quotation from which to respond with a haiku. Today’s quote is:

“forget not that the Earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair”

My response to Khalil’s words is…
