Carpe Diem’s “Use That Quote”

Carpe Diem’s Use That Quote provides us with a quotation from which to respond with a haiku. Today’s quote is:

“forget not that the Earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair”

Khalil Gibran

My response to Khalil’s words is…

in shining armour
the most chivalrous forget
Mother Nature’s love

Smiles, love and laughter

  1. Mother nature’s love is a powerful force. 🙂

  2. Cathy Tenzo says:

Ah yes–sometimes we brace ourselves for defense and so cannot feel the caress of the world. Lovely!
