Carpe Diem Special #68. Hando’s 4th, “puddles on the pavement”

The prompt from Carpe Diem today is a haiku by Hando, Puddles on the pavement…

the puddles on the pavement
carry the moon, the stars
and cherry blossoms

Not in the spirit of the prompt haiku, but my mind wandered to a property in outback Australia and the coming of rain after years of disappointment for a farming family …
