Carpe Diem’s Tan Renga Challenge #21, ‘the moon is rising’

This Tan Renga challenge is a haiku by the host Chèvrefeuille The Moon Is Rising. As usual, our goal is to take his haiku and add 2 x 7 syllable lines…

the moon is rising
the silvery waves resonate
in tune with my heart

breaking on a lonely beach
leaving behind just a shell

Smiles, love and laughter
