The Tan Renga challenge from Carpe Diem today is Lothar”s (Rheumatologe) “this dark autumn night”.
Today I take you from Lothar’s northern autumn night, to my Brisbane back yard…
this dark autumn night
the bright stars of milky way
cries of geese above
squawks from the poolside palm trees
as flying foxes squabble
Smiles, love and laughter

Nice direction … I wasn’t aware of the term “flying fox”! Clever 😉
I had to google … Thank you for sharing a new term for me … it’s early on this side of the world … that calls for more coffee and envisioning warmer weather by the pool! 😀

They do squabble, but I find when they swoop out from the dark unannounced more….challenging 😉
