Carpe Diem”s Tan Renga Challenge Month #IX, JRB”s ”By the shore”

I’m honoured that Carpe Diem have used one of my haiku for this Tan Renga challenge. The goal of a Tan Renga is to add 2 x 7 syllable lines to a 5-7-5 haiku prompt. Given that I used 3-5-3 form in the original haiku, I shall complete the renga with 2 x 5 syllable lines.
