 salmon leaps
through torrents to find
its name sake

After seeing jazzbumpa‘s response to this prompt, I was inspired to write this addition…

the sake hunter
projecting a love of death
pathological

  1. Maggie Grace says:

Wasn’t it the salmon’s desire to be killed with the willow rather than the hunter’s? Does that make the salmon pathological? Willow death wish. My brain is tired …

  2. Love the puns in that first one…

  3. Nice take on ‘sake’ … cheers JRB

  4. Cathy Tenzo says:

I like these both and I agree–twisted thinking!
