Haiku For Carpe Diem #294, Ran (orchids)

Carpe Diem has asked us to write haiku for the kigo Ran (orchids).

Whilst I often draw on greek mythology, today I couldn’t go past greek etymology for orchid…

  1. OK, I looked it up. I never knew that the lovely orchid was so named because it resembled a testicle. Someone’s imagination was running wild!
