Today we start a new Carpe Diem month with the Haiku prompt Otiosity.
Dictionary.com defines Otiose as:
- being at leisure; idle; indolent.
- ineffective or futile.
- superfluous or useless.
I therefore offer you 1, 2, 3 odes to otiosity…
whilst sleeping
otiosity
killed the cat

the faithful gather
on bended knees their prayers

filling my senses without
otiosity
