Carpe Diem’s Tan Renga Challenge #3 “the rainy season”

In Carpe Diem’s Tan Renga Challenge #3 we are given the Haiku “the rainy season” and must add two 7 syllable lines:

the rainy season
a paper lantern in hand
I walk along the verandah

frogs telegraph my progress
silent brown snake licks his lips

Smiles, love and laughter

  1. Maggie Grace says:

I hope the frogs warn you of the snake! Creepy crawlies in the dark ;-O

  2. 4joy says:

don’t those frogs remember what happened last time they used morse code?

  3. as the brown snake
    devours the little frog
    silence falls
