Haiku For Carpe Diem #223, Hasu (Lotus)

Our Haiku prompt from Carpe Diem today is Hasu (Lotus)

Kritjaan has taught us of the links between the Lotus and the life stages of Buddha. A Buddhist stream runs through my three today…

through muddy waters
food for the body and soul
rice and lotus grow

Buddha’s legacy
pink lotus speaks of wisdom
glistening lilies

enlightened lotus
after moments in the sun
returns to the mud

Thank you for visiting my lily pad today. I hope my lotus meditations help remove your agitations.

Smiles, love and laughter

Enlightenment does have its downside, apparently! 😉

    Perhaps a Lotus

  6. The last one is a favorite .. but the whole series as a circle of life is amaziningly nice
