Haiku Carpe Diem #166, Libra (The Scales)

This Carpe Diem Haiku prompt is Libra (The Scales).

If I had a more balanced life, perhaps I’d have paid homage to Libra on time. To address that balance, I offer a simple trio…

Libra holds the scales
with the measure of mankind
justice weighs heavy

knowledge and beauty
the gifts that bring you pleasure
surrounding Libra

saints and sinners seek
the wisdom of the ages
justice carved in stone

As always, I thank you for dropping by. I hope I’ve done some justice to your investment in time my friends.

Smiles, love and laughter.

All three…nuggets of beauty. Justice does weigh heavy these days. First one is so powerful.
