Haiku Carpe Diem Special #24, Butterfly by Chiyo-Ni

Today’s Carpe Diem Haiku Prompt is a haiku Butterfly by the Master Chiy-Ni’s:

In mid-flight
the butterfly returns
to the pines of Shiogoshi Shrine

This wonderful haiku from a master brought to my mind these three humble offerings…

The soul soars
Returning once more
To the heart

A Butterfly flaps its wings
Everything changes

On sodden wings returning
Pinning for the shrine
