The Carpe Diem Prompt for today is Crocus.
Regal Crocus rises
Snow melts at Spring Princess’ feet
Time for courting nears

Snow’s pallor rampant
Crocus’ purple catches eye

Flower of Knossos
Homers’ Cretans sang your praise

I thought, read one more haiku before bed…
picked right one:
“Snow melts at Spring Princess’ feet”
“Iris on Iris”
for sweet dreams…thank you.

It seems we may have been on similar thought waves on my 3. As my youngest says ‘jinx’ 🙂

A very Majestic post JRB. I love the first haiku the most and the last one brought me insight in a picture shared by YerPirate on his blog and in his post for today’s ‘crocus’. Wonderful to see that you’ve used a same imagery as YerPirate. Could it be that Carpe Diem influences our commonly consciousness 🙂

It is wonderful to see how the community you have created is growing and, how a single word prompt can inspire such diversity and/or different views of the similar perspectives. Thank you 🙂
