Today’s Carpe Diem Prompt provides two Haiku by this month’s Haiku Master, Masaoka Shiki.

wakakusa ya kirema kirema ni mizo no iro

green grass –
between, between the blades
the color of the water

My mind immediately wondered to an environment I love to be in, Australian Rain Forests.
