Today’s Carpe Diem Prompt is Seahawk. As the prompt tells us, “the Seahawk (Hawk or Osprey) is known as the messenger from the skies and when you see a Seahawk that is a sign to look closer to yourself. The Seahawk stands for spiritual rejuvenation and spiritual awareness.”

Messenger of Gods
Spirit soaring, ethereal
Head bows, let Osprey

~ | ~

Talons piercing flesh
Beak tears heart from soul
Eyes mirror my curse

~ |~

Featherlight Sea hawk
Seeing all from heaven’s gate
Bears heavy on me
