Haiku Carpe Diem #78, frost (shimo)

The Carpe Diem prompt for Christmas Day was frost (shimo).

Spending a wonderful Brisbane Christmas day in 31C warmth, loving time with family, eating, drinking and swimming in the pool, it was very hard to think about ‘frost’. I guess my mind drifted to those who for whatever reason don’t have people who they love around them…

Frost forms silently
Chilling your world, colour gone
Love caught unaware
