Carpe Diem #56, Full Beaver Moon

Beaver Moon, so soon
Heralds winter, lodge to fill
River, be damed

November Moon light
Beavers away through the night
No time to be blue

Under Beaver Moon
Traps poised  to ensnare
Their Fur King bounty

  2. Good day JRB, I am so glad to see you post every day on Carpe Diem. Maybe we are starting to get somewhere with this daily haiku meme. In the last days I have seen really nice haiku shared by new contributors. It makes me humble and happy for hosting this Carpe Diem.
What a nice triplet of haiku you share here with us, with the several meanings of the full beaver moon. They are piece by piece really little diamonds that shimmer in the light of the full beaver moon. Thank you for sharing these with us.
