Artwiculate WOTD Haiku: Lambent

Lambent Tongues of Fire

Today’s Artwiculate Word of the Day was Lambent. On searching for the definition, I came across the first line of this Haiku used as an example usage of the word (originator searched for, but not found).

Lambent tongues of flame

Whispering sweet surrender

My hearth overflows

The image above came after writing the Haiku. Amusingly (for me anyway), on searching for ‘flames licking wood’ Google returned many results that might also be deemed to fit with the imagery…just not on this blog :0)
