Carpe Diem #54 Haikus – Love

Two sides of the coin
Love’s currency is spent
Head over tails

It’s not about you
I’ve leaned to love another
The mirror smiles back

Pulses soft and tender
Sweet ripe cherry tomato
Love’s salad days

I really think, for myself, the last two lines:
    “Sweet ripe cherry tomato
    Love’s salad days” ……..are a knock out.
